Awareness, tools & strategies for children, teachers and caregivers
Small Steps seminars are delivered to school or pre-school parents and teachers. The aim of the program is to increase awareness of anxiety disorders to allow for early intervention. While exploring real life scenarios, we provide tools and strategies for teachers and caregivers. The aim of Small Steps is to develop awareness and support networks as early intervention is a key indicator of improved health outcomes for children living with anxiety.
Topics covered in Small Steps:
- What is anxiety
- How does anxiety become a problem

We were fortunate enough to have Julie present the Small Steps Anxiety Workshop at our school. […] The greatest message was that early intervention and treatment gave hope for those students suffering from anxiety. I’m planning to have [a Small Steps session] for our staff as I now realise that awareness and early recognition of anxiety are the key to positive outcomes. Thanks so much for your time and energy, Julie!
